SPIRIO AUDIO REINFORCEMENT FOR HOME USE

Steinway & Sons Spirio is a high-resolution player piano – designed to deliver an acoustic experience indistinguishable from a live performance.  We strongly encourage all Spirio customers to experience Spirio as intended – an acoustic listening experience. 

However, a very small percentage of Spirio customers insist on integrating Spirio into their home audio system, or on being able to listen to Spirio in rooms others than near the piano.  To this end, this hardware list can provide a reliable and effective solution. 

This list does not replace the need for a skilled home audio technician, however.  We strongly encourage any customer intent on pursuing this to engage a home-audio expert to ensure proper installation and optimization with consideration for the room(s), local acoustics, particular home audio system, and customer expectations.

NOTE:

The piano technician will place microphones in recommended positions and discretely mount/run XLR cables from piano to mixer.  The audio technician will connect mixer to sound system and produce a stereo mix.
