Having studied around the world, he is especially adept at performing late Romantic and Chinese piano music.

The ten pieces in this collection have been carefully selected as being most representative of Chinese culture. He dives deeply into each note, meticulously studying the composer’s intention with his own exceptional musical lens. In demand as performer, he has performed solo recitals in major cities and music festivals, including The Chan Centre in Vancouver, The Carnegie Hall in New York, The University of Victoria, The Woodlawn Hall in Seattle, and Beijing Steinway Hall, etc.

Mr. Jiang’s works have been performed widely, most recently in Beijing, Guangzhou, Vancouver, New York, Lucca, and Taipei. Commissioners include the Naxos Records, The Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM), China Youth Symphony Orchestra, and chamber music by Ablaze Records. From beginner through advanced levels, he has more than seven works in the latest RCM syllabus. In his studio, students grow a strong foundation which then gives them the tools to find their own way musically - and in all aspects of their lives. His students have won many prestigious competitions, both nationally and internationally.

As an entrepreneurial organizer, Edward Jiang founded the Pacific Rim International Music Festival (PRM) along with other respected musicians. These include Dr. Stephen Chatman, and Mr. Gary Graffman. This endeavor aims to offer a platform for the young pianists from the pan-Pacific regions to showcase their talents. As Jiang said, “Music is an art that always needs a stage. And it is our common aspiration to provide a stage for our young dreamers."
